‘Landscapes’: Forum Space Exhibition

18th October - 13th November 2018

The Forum Space will soon be hosting a colourful and captivating watercolour exhibition:  ‘Landscapes’ by Les Williams, Vice President of the Society of Graphic Fine Art. This exhibition is inspired by the world around us.

About the artist:

Les loves to paint landscapes, both urban and rural scenes, especially on location which he believes add liveliness to the work. His medium is pen and wash. He has trained at the Royal Drawing School and under the tutoring of some of the leading watercolourists in the United Kingdom.

Over the last few years he has exhibited on many occasions in London, including The Barbican, Menier Gallery, Lloyd’s, Bankside Gallery, St Martins in the Fields and Southwark Cathedral. His work is owned and collected by important figures in the Square Mile and in the US. He regularly shows in Norfolk, in Norwich at The Assembly House and The Forum, whilst also participating in Norfolk Open Studios.

Les is Vice President of the Society of Graphic Fine Art, a member of the Drawing London Group, West Norfolk Artists Association and the Maritime Art Group.

‘Les is one of the leading pen and washwatercolourists in the country’ - The Assembly House, Norwich

Visitors can expect to take away from the exhibition an enjoyment of looking at the landscape around them a little closer. Taking photographs does not mean you have to look closely, especially if you are only doing ‘selfies’

Items will be available to purchase.
